We are so thankful for yet another amazing year of Family Photo Fundraisers. More than 19 schools or associations took part in this fundraiser and managed to raise thousands of dollars for their schools and associations. Some schools had more than a hundred families turn out for their fundraiser. It is such a pleasure to photograph many of the same families year after year. We are so happy to be ahead of schedule this year (thanks to MJM Photography and their amazing lab!) and are expecting to have all photos out to families by the end of next week! We look forward to working with these schools and associations again in the Spring and next fall. Remember to not wait and make sure your schools are booked for this fundraiser for next year. Our dates are already filling fast! We sincerely thank you for your continued business and wish you and your families a very Merry Christmas!

Last night we had the priviledge to be a part of the Juvenile Diabetes Starlight Gala Fundraiser at the Coast Capri Hotel. What an incredible experience it was to be a part of such an event. The Coast Capri banquet room was transformed and was absolutely gorgeous. We were part of photographing all of the couples as they entered the event, after they perused the incredible silent auction. We were printing pictures on sight to give as a giveaway to the guests. It was so much fun to see so many great people who were there to support such an incredible cause. Andy and TJ from Astral media hosted the event and did a great job. The amount of work that was put in to make this event a success was inspiring. Countless people and business donated their time, their money and their services to make this event a spectacular success and help raise money for an amazing cause. We were truly honored to be a part of it and hope to do so again in upcoming years. This Thanksgiving there are so many things to be thankful for. We are looking forward to photographing more than 100 families this weekend as well as enjoying time with our own family. This weekend looks like it will be a beautiful one (we are so thankful the weather has been cooperating). We look forward to photographing all of you that will be joining us this weekend from Chute Lake, Dorthea Walker and Glenmore Elementary!

We are so excited for another season of Family Photo School Fundraisers. September has certainly cooperated with the weather and we are certainly hoping that October is the same. Our online ordering is up and running again this fall with an exciting new addition of a data download.  This will be a wonderful solution for families looking to have their photos instantly. After ordering and the payment has been processed an email will be sent to you with instructions on how to download your photos instantly. This download will be of all of your beautiful images taken that day and will be high resolution. All with the same cost as ordering a CD. We are excited to add this new option to our Family Photo Fundraisers. 

This year we are working with more than 20 schools for our Family Photo Fundraiser. It is such a great opportunity for Parent Advisory Councils to fundraise for their schools while offering beautiful family photographs to their students. This fundraiser involves very little organization on the part of the PAC's and can earn your schools thousands of dollars each year. It is hard to believe that the start of the 2011/2012 school year is upon us. This summer seemed to fly by even faster than last year and we are gearing up for an incredibly busy fall season. Hopefully the late start to our summer weather will make for an incredibly warm and sunny Fall. We are looking forward to a jam packed School and Family Photo season and are excited to add five new schools to our School Photography and our Family Photography Fundraiser.  September also brings a big change with the launch of our newly updated website. We are so excited for our new user friendly webpage and are incredibly thankful to Todd Avison and John Holman from the Joe Rich Project for all of their hard work. We had the privilege of being able to photograph Katie and Graham’s wedding this past weekend. Having known Katie for a number of years it made being a part of this day even more special for us. From the moment Katie stepped out of the car she took our breath away. One of my favorite moments was watching her childhood friends all burst into tears as she walked towards them. Stunning doesn’t begin to describe how she looked. Taking pre-wedding photos at the Cross’s Orchard in South Kelowna was such a treat. There were more locations than we could possible shoot in such a short time and we would love to return again sometime soon. The wedding ceremony was held at the Serenity Gardens,  what an incredibly beautiful location. This summer was the first summer opened up for rental and what a stunning location it is. Definitely worth checking out if you are looking for an outdoor venue! Graham and Katie’s ceremony was beautiful. We used many of the great outdoor locations around the Gardens for our photos and had such a great time with this incredible couple. Their sense of humor and playful manner was so much fun to photograph. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your day Katie and Graham. We wish you a lifetime of happiness together.
